What camera?

Using a card reader or directly connecting the camera? (Card reader is better.)

What kind of import (copy, add, DNG)?

NikonD7000. I am using a card reader. The import is copy to sad disc. I have used this method before, but for approximately 14 days it is suddenly slow. I am still doing the same thing as before...

This is almost always some hardware malfunction. It could be bad card, or bad card reader, or bad USB Hub/USB Port/USB Cable.

Same Issue here, no hardware malfunction, just a horrible bug that Adobe seems to be ignoring all the way.

It takes me forever to import photos from my iPhone.  This did not happen in the past; it seems to be new.  Anyone have ideas why?

Hardware malfunction. Try different hardware to get the photos from the camera to the computer.

Are you thinking computer hardware, phone hardware, or cord hardware?

I'm still having a great deal of trouble importing photos.  If it is the hardware how do I determine which it is?  I've been needing to wait ten minutes for the pictures to load on my computer and then after I hit import they often will not load at all until I quit LR and restart it or restart my whole computer.  Can it be my slow internet speed? I'd think that that wouldn't matter because I'm just going from iPhone to iMac.
