Click Start Trial

Go to the Lightroom menu: Help > Sign Out <your email address>

Quit Lightroom

Relaunch Lightroom and click Sign In Now

Click the button - License This Software

Enter serial number – 24 digits starting 1160 & click Next

Lightroom will launch as LR6

N.B. never give your serial number in messages on public forums. You can find it in an email (purchased download version) or inside the packaging (disk version)

@99dj the original poster said he purchased "Adobe Creative Cloud Photography LR 6.

He should just login to his account in the CC Application Manager and it should show the Applications he has for download.

Sorry to confuse you. You don’t need a serial number for Creative Cloud. Are you running on Windows or Mac?

Try signing-out of Creative Cloud. Click the gear icon near top right and choose sign-out. Then re-start your computer. Re-launch Creative Cloud and sign-in again. Wait for the apps to refresh. Does the LR button change?

Try downloading the Photoshop CC (2017) first.

You can safely install the trial and it will run with full functions for the 7 day trial.
