Dynamic Link with Audition Problem

I've updated to CC 2017 but as I'm mid project in 2015.4 I kept those programs. After sending a PP sequence to Audition, 2017 opened not the 2015 version. After mixing in Audition 2017 anyway and exporting back to PP the 2017 version of PP opened. Is this normal behaviour and if not how do I get the versions to stay in sync?

I would have expected 2015 Audition to open.  But, if it's all working...don't fix it.
