Can anyone help me please? I have Lightroom 5. Recently, when I connect my camera to my Apple PC to import photos, I find that for every photo two files are imported, a CR2 and CR2-2 file. Any suggestions as to how I can overcome this?

Which exact version of Lightroom?

Using a card reader or directly connecting the camera? (Card reader is better.)
