    Missing metadata

Hi - I've recently upgraded from Lightroom Elements to Lightroom CC.  When I imported my catalogue it didn't include any of the metadata, so things like my star ratings aren't showing up.  I believe this happened because I didn't realise the default option was to not include metadata.  My question is what is the best way to remedy this?  I was considering deleting the catalogue and reinstalling it but wanted to see if there were any easier options first.  Thanks in advance for your response.

Do you mean you imported a Photoshop Elements catalog into Lightroom? You can start over. From the LR menu choose File >> New Catlog. Choose a new name e.g. LightroomCatalog-2 and when the empty catalog launches start the import again:

File >> Import a photoshop elements catalog
