We have no idea because we don't know anything about your OS, your version of AE or your workflow. If AE is up to date, not necessarily the latest version but up to date, and your system and drivers are compatible and up to date and you get this error when you try and open AE then give us details. If the problem occurs when you try and do something in a comp then we also need workflow details.
