Rows in tables highlighted in yellow...how to rid?

I inherited an InDesign document and am very new to the program.

I noticed on a couple tables that the rows are highlighted in yellow. How can I change this and what caused it?

The "X" across the yellow frame suggests that it is separate from the table and could be selected and deleted.

Thank you so much...yes, it was a box that was behind the others. I finally drilled down far enough to get rid of it..Thanks VERY much!

The X looks like you have a graphic frame there.

Can you select it and delete it?
