I'm just trying to print off my first InDesign project but when I print the document it prints off a white trim around the edges, then cuts off some of the actual content as well. I've been learning about bleeds etc and I think I've set everything right. I've tried exporting the PDF with different settings and nothing's working. Is the issue to do with the printer or have I missed something?
Below is a screenshot of the document in InDesign. When opened in Acrobat it looks as intended - no white marks/trims and no content is cut off.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Unless your printer is capable of borderless printing this is to be expected.
Thank you BobLevine, that makes sense.
If you can print larger paper, say 11 x 17, this would solve your problem.
