Also note - this is only happening for my iOS profile, not my Android one. This is the error text from FAQ:
Our servers were unable to sign your app using the profile and certificate that you uploaded, because the identity listed on the profile did not match the one on the certificate. This could be because you uploaded a developer profile with a distribution certificate, or vice versa.
Try generating a new provisioning profile that matches your certificate, and uploading that to PhoneGap Build."
Do you have any special characters in your password? You might try something without special characters in order to see if that helps.
(Note: not advocating that your password shouldn't have special characters -- just that I've seen other posts where certain characters seem to have been causing problems.)
Also, Please check the certificate expiry date.
I'm experiencing the same problem. At random times it will give me this error. A few days ago I did not have this problem with the exact same profiles/certs/passwords.
Also my certs are not expired.
This has been happening to me as well, locking and unlocking the certificate seems to make the problem go away but it takes multiple tries at times.
I am having the same problem too. It is intermittent for me and has been happening for at least 2 days. When I get the certificate error, I re-submit the build and it usually works the next time.
Has there been any resolution to this issue, other than repeated trying, with locking and unlocking the cert?
I am experiencing this issue other the last few days, having made no changes to my cert/provision profile etc and cert has not expired, occassionally I will get this issue and then eventually, it will resolve itself and then a few builds later, I see it again!
This is getting very frustrating, as I will need to update my cert in a few weeks but how will I know, if I encounter an issue, if the issue is with me or phonegap!
(And there is nothing unusual about the password either)
