Hi, I have an app that is built using Visual Studio and Cordova. When I publish the app using phonegap, the windows app only gets built in x86 architecture and therefore when it is published to the Windows store it can not be run on a Windows phone. Please could you let me know what I am doing wrong and how resolve this problem.
Have you configured the windows-arch preference in config.xml?
<platform name="winphone"> <preference name="windows-appx-target" value="uap" /> <!-- uap, 8.1-win, 8.1-phone --> <preference name="windows-arch" value="anycpu" /> <!-- anycpu, arm, x86, and x64 --> </platform>
There is probably a configuration setting in the Visual Studio project file. If you're using cordova on the command line to build you should be able to use the --arch=anycpu.
Thanks for your responses. I have now added the suggested additions to my config file, the problem now is whenever I upload the app to Phonegap I get an error saying 'no index.html present' even though there is an index.html and this app worked before....
