Within a Flex app, the 'global' (x,y) of the upper left
corner of the main SWF is (0,0). But what is the (x,y) of that
point within the monitor screen? Is it possible to find it out in
Flex? I know this may sound a strange question. The reason is that
I want to find out the screen coordinates of certain areas in a
Flex2 app so I can use java.awt.Robot utility to capture and
convert that area into an image file. Any ideas? Thanks.
You can't do this directly in Flex, but you should be able to
using the ExternalInterface class.
