Trouble developing photo from book module.

I am working on my 10th blurb book and today have experienced a new problem.  When I try to go to the develop module from the book module I am taken to a picture from earlier in the book not the picture I am working on .  I have updated my program - LR6 ,tried going out of lightroom and then re-entering it and turning off and turning on the computer..  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could you please let us know if you are facing this issue in the latest version of Lightroom 6.9?

I solved the problem. It arose because recent photos were moved from their

file into the collection using an attribute. When I attempted to develop

an earlier placed photo it was not recognized. Removing the attribute from

the library file solved the problem..
