try the open() method in Director's help. That should fully explain what you need to do as far as lingo goes.
You're looking for the go command. If the movie you want to jump to from
your stub is named 'sramrules' then you could use this in the stub to jump
or, prior to Director MX2004, you'd use:
go frame "markerName" of movie "movieName"
you can, of course, use frame numbers instead of marker names too. If you
just want to jump to the first frame of a movie you can eliminate the
marker/frame and just 'go movieName' - don't forget to _not_specify the .dir
