I am using Windows 10 on a relatively new laptop, and recently purchased Lightroom 6 and installed it. It works fine, but when I close it, I get the BSOD with a Process Has Locked Pages message and my computer reboots. I have searched for answers, disabled the 3D driver, etc. - all to no avail. The most recent crash also did a scan, referring to corrupted drives.
I would like to continue to use Lightroom, but am unwilling to chance it ruining my new laptop. How can I get this fixed?
Just to update - This is the stand-alone version of Lightroom 6 (not CC). I have now updated the Lightroom software and tried the settings for compatibility with Windows 8.1. Still crashes on close with the Process Has Locked Pages message. I tried to restore to an earlier restore point, but the restore failed.
I am running Windows 10, V 1511, OS Build 10586.713 (updated today).
Make sure you have installed the latest video drivers for your graphics card.
Please state the exact version NUMBER of Lightroom that you are running. Go to Help->System Info and report the version number of Lightroom shown there.
If it is not Lightroom 6.8, please update your Lightroom from Keep your Lightroom version up to date
