After Effects 2017 14.0.1.5 - black frames

Hi there

This morning I downloaded the new and supposed updated AE.

I started one time lapse and it was fine. But on the second it gets to 15 seconds and the frames are just black.

The cache has been deleted so it's not that. I've restarted After Effects with no luck.

Anyone any idea as to why this is happening? My system is a 2015 iMac running OS El Capitan Version 10.11.1. AMD Radeon R9 M380 2048 MB with 8GB RAM.

The time lapse is created from JPEG images from a Canon 5D Mark II or Canon 6D.
