Here's the deal. Yesterday I was happily running Flash MX2004
v7.2 on Mac OS 10.3.9.
I create audio using Pro Tools and bounce to 44.1 16bit WAV.
Everything was fine until yesterday I installed the auto
update for OSX and Quicktime.
Now whenever I try to import a WAV I get the error message
'Flash doesn't recognize the file format of 'stop_103a,wav'. Would
you like to try and import via Quicktime?'
I click yes and get 'One or more files were not imported
because there were problems reading them.'
I can open the waves in itunes and quicktime and can preview
them in the finder.
If I open them in quicktime then export them to WAV I can
then import them into Flash.
Anyone know why it's doing this all of a sudden? My colleague
also has the same problem but he's on OS 10.4 and Flash 8. I'm
guessing we're not the only ones having this problem.
