Using LR6 with Safari on an iMac: When importing photos from an SD card, the selection screen shows many of the photos "grayed out". It's as if they have already been imported (they haven't). Even unchecking "Do not import duplicated" doesn't change anything. However, when the card is used on two other Macs with the same Os and LR versions, all the photos are available for import. What the heck is going on?

Why do you say "they haven't"? Are you 100% sure you haven't imported these in the past? Why are you sure? Explain.
Normally, the problem boils down to figuring out why Lightroom thinks the photos have previously been imported. In most cases, the answer turns out to be that the photos have been previously imported.
Yes, I am 100% sure. They are shot that day and that night we try to transfer. Also the other two machines import the entire card with no difficulty. I did just realize that the problem machine was recently update to the latest version of LR6 while the other machines haven't been.
