Can't Import on Lightroom

after upgrading to Lightroom 6.8 I cant import my photos. It says importing but nothing happens. And I cant exit Lightroom either.

Please update to the latest version of Lightroom 6.9 and let us know if that helps.

However, we would like to know the operating system of your computer and other specifications to get get some details.
