Encryption of Multiple PDF's

How do I encrypt multiple PDF's included in separate files folders? I have 3 file folders that contain multiple pdf's inside. Is there a way to encrypt each of the files with a password vs encrypting each of the pdf's included in the file folders? Otherwise, it seems it would take me a long time to click each and every pdf and assign the same password to each. Any help would be appreciated.

In Acrobat Pro use the Action Wizard for this.

Look at Tools > Action Wizard

I was able to select a file folder and it added all the pdf's to encrypt in that folder, however, I still had to enter a password for every single pdf file. Thanks for trying to help.

Disable the entry "Prompt User".
