    Before / After screen only showing After, Before greyed out

      The heading pretty much describes the entirety of the problem.

      I have made a number of changes to an image and want to compare to the original. Pressing Y brings up the split screen, but the Before screen is grey - no image. LR6 appears to be working properly apart from this. I can also post the Sys Info if that helps

          Try turning off the GPU feature in the preferences and you might want to update to the newest version of LR 6. Which is 6.8.

            I already have LR6.8 installed. I had already tried turning off GPU before posting.

            I have LR6 on another computer and it does not have this problem.

              Problem solved!

              Turns out I had to update my 10+ YO monitor with a brand new monitor. Hey presto, split screen works now.
