    cuda non reconnu after effect


      bonjour je dispose de cette carte graphique 1080 GTX ZOTAC extreme,le CUDA n'est pas reconnu dans after effect mais est reconnu dans premiere ,j'ai modifié le fichier texte dans le programme d'installation en y insérant les specs de ma carte CUDA ok .mais quand je créé un nouveau solid que j'y ajoute un plugin de style saber ,le rendu est super lent et losque je regarde l'activité de mon ordinateur je m'aperçois que le processeur est solicité a 98 % .j'ai vraiment besoin d'aide je dispose d'une grosse config pc mais ça rame a fond!!!!merci

          AE does not support these cards nor does it use GPU acceleration for effects. the only feature CUDA support was relevant for is the deprecated Raytrace 3D. the rest has nothing to do with AE. The Light Saber plug-in is created by Video CoPilot and if something is wrong, you have to ask them. That said, it doesn't use any GPU, either, and my general impression is that you just have a wrong understanding or wrong expectations of how AE works and what it can do.

            The newest versions of After Effects do use GPU acceleration for some effects, but it's only a handful. Many third party effects are GPU accelerated too.


            As Mylenium points out, Saber is not one of the plugins that uses the GPU.
