Elements 14 camera raw plug in

I need to download a file to upgrade camera raw plugin from 9.5 to 9.7 or above.  In elements 14 I am not able to open a raw .NEF file.

Hi APonzi,

You can simply upgrade the Camera raw from within PSE following the below mentioned steps:

• Open Photoshop Elements Editor.
• Go to Help menu > Updates...
• The Adobe Application Manager screen would open which would show you the updates available if any.
• Select the updates you wish to apply and click on update.

Note: The shipped camera raw version for PSE 14 was 9.0 and can be upgraded to 9.5.

9.7 is not compatible with PSE14 but is with PSE15.

Hi APonzi,

Max supported Camera raw version for Photoshop Elements 14 is 9.5. Camera Raw 9.7 is supported in Photoshop Elements 15. You may use Photoshop Elements 15 trial or DNG converter as a workaround.
