Another beginner's question:

is it possible to accommodate images of different sizes and/or aspect ratios in a muse slideshow? or is there a plug in that will?

its possible but not a very good idea

Could you be a little bit more specific? The size of every single image can be easily adapted, because

a) you are free to choose the overall size of your widget's hero container, and

b) you are able to resize and/or place the images within the container voluntarily.
