Hi, all. I would like to use some of the stock photographs of people in wheelchairs for research for school, but in order to do this, I would have to say that the people in the photograph have a specific type of disability. However, I just realized that the terms and conditions state the following:
"(G) use the Work in a way that places any person in the photo in a bad light or in a defamatory, unlawful, immoral, or offensive manner, including but not limited to... or political endorsements or implies mental or physical illness or impairment... "
I am guessing, then, that using photos in this manner is a violation of the terms and conditions even if for educational/science purposes, correct?
Depending on exactly how the image is used is more than question than can you use it for your project. So unless there is some untold reason or use that you didn't post I'd say you should be fine.
Thank you very much! I was also able to clarify through Adobe Support that as long as the image is for research and that I am not outright endorsing a disability or using it for political use in my research, then it is fine.
