    next & back buttons

      I would appreciate any help on creating a BACK and a NEXT button that works to navigate a visitor to the previous or next page. Is there a free script that will achieve this?

      Thank you

          Google "javascript back button" and you'll find about a hundred people's thoughts on how to do it.

          Javascript has a native "last page" (back) function that looks like this in an easy implementation:

          <a href="#" onClick="history.go(-1)">Back</a>
          <input type=button value="Back" onClick="history.go(-1)">

          or, this is a bit cleaner:

          <a href="javascript:history.go(-1)" onMouseOver="self.status=document.referrer;return true">Go Back</a>

          Here's a "form" implementation:

          <INPUT type="button" value="Click here to go back" onClick="history.back()">

          The forward bit is a bit more of a challenge - it will depend on how you determine what the "next" page is.

          [you decide]
