*.acsm files not to be copied on Kobo e-book

    NomieBD

I bought e-books. They are downloaded as *.ascm files. Impossible to enter these books in ADE : error message "Check activation". The authorisations are the same on ADE and Kobo Aura H2O. I tried to errase authorisation in ADE but the operation is impossible and the pgm ask to come back later (now 3 days !).
I have more than 150 e-books on this Kobo and up to begin december, I had no problem at all.
Please SOS. Thank you for your help.

          Windows:

              Close all applications.

              Choose Start > Run.

In the Open text box, type regedit and then press Enter. The Registry Editor opens.

In the left pane of the Registry Editor, locate the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept

              Select the Adept key.

              Choose File > Export.

In the Export Registry File dialog box, select Selected Branch under Export Range. Enter a name and location for the backup registry key, and then click Save.

Right-click the Adept key and choose Delete.

In the Confirm Key Delete dialog, click OK.

              Close the Registry Editor.

Open Adobe Digital Editions and reauthorize.

          Macintosh:

              quit Adobe Digital Editions.

Navigate to /Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash.

If you are using 10.7, see https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/access-hidden-user-library-files.html

Open Adobe Digital Editions and reauthorize.

I am always afraid to change something in the registry even if I have saved it like you propose to do.
I work another way : I rename the file or directory with _old (in this case Adept_old) : the program does not recognise this new name but if I made a mistake, I always can recover the old file or directory very easily (same name, same location).

But thank you for your help, this solve my problem for 7 of my 8 books. I have for the last one a message E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED
