    Can't uninstall on mac

When I tried installing Adobe Air for the first time, it failed. I tried to remove all Adobe Air files from my computer and reinstall, but the error message "Adobe Air Already Installed" pops up, so the corrupted file must still be on my computer. There is no Uninstaller in my Utilities folder. I have tried using Terminal to "log" the Installation but I'm somewhat computer illiterate and the instructions for this on the Adobe Support page have left me confused.

Also, I have read a similar post on this forum from someone with a similar problem They were instructed to delete files from /library/applications... etc. Where is this root /library folder? I am running Leopard, is it called something else on this system?

Just wondering if someone can help me out in simplified terms :) Thanks!
