Indesign update won't download

I need to update InDesign from 2015 to the 2016 version. I clicked the "download" button and see the message "InDesign is downloading now..." But nothing seems to be happening. In Internet Explorer, I checked under "View Downloads," and nothing is listed there for Adobe, so I don't think the install even began. How can I get this started?

You need to do this from Creative Cloud desktop app.

Click on Update button to update InDesign from CC2015 to CC2017
