    Newbie Question

    Level 7
I am fascinated with Flex and have Flex Builder 1.5 and the developer
edition of Flex Server. Where is a good place to start to learn how to
program in MXML and in Flex Builder. I am starting from scratch with the
language although I have been working in Dreamweaver for multiple years and
traditionally program in Classic ASP and a little in Coldfusion.

Thanks for any information you can help. I am mostly looking for books and
      videos.

          Hi Wally,

I would recommend that you upgrade to Flex 2.0 Beta 3, which is available for download at the following link.

On the same page, you will find links to video demos and tutorials like "Build a Flex App in 15 mintues"

Thanks for the info. I am in the process of upgrading right now. I watched
all the videos I could find, but I am looking for more 'from scratch'
training on MXML. I figured out Flex Builder but I need more training on the
            actual coding.

            Thanks for any info.

In addition I would suggest stepping through the samples packaged with
FlexBuilder, especially the Component Explorer which steps through each
control in the Flex library in its most basic usage.
