Photoshop Doc is White... then black... then White

After I've used Photoshop for a while, couple hours or so, I'll open a document with an image, and while I can see the image in my Layers & History palettes, the document itself is solid white. Occasionally I can re-size the window and the image will show up, but now when I resize the window it just switches from white to black to white to black, etc., ad infinitum.

If I quit the program and restart it's fine... but I should't have to do that.

Anybody have this issue? If so, have you figured out how to cure it?

Thanks|mm

try turning off the GPU in the performance section of preferences. If the problem stops you need a new driver for your graphics card.
