Can't Import

Lightroom won't import any photos from my computer, SD card or external hard drive.  This is a new issue that just started happening.  Lightroom recognizes the devices but no images show on the center screen and the import button never lights up.

I have a MAC and Lightroom 5.7

MacOS Sierra Version 10.12.2 and Lightroom 5.7
