I have problems to download pictures from my back-up catalogue. When I download them, all the pictures are corrupted. They looks like a collections of squares. We are talking about 28000 pictures. The picture frame shows on upper right corner an exclamation mark.
Further on all the files are marked with a question mark. What can I do?
is this a lightroom question? and what version of whatever program?

There is a problem. When I download my pictures (Lightroom 6, version 6.8) from an external harddisk (import from a another catalogue, all my pictures are corrupted. In the frame there are exclamation marks and in the imported maps they are marked with a question mark (?). The system lost there connection with the original files. It means that I have to look to all my 28847 pictures and reconnect the files. Is there a quicker solution? I hope so, it is a hell of a job!! Please HELP

I am not seeing corruption. Am I missing something?
I do see the exclamation point, this document explains how to fix the exclamation point: Adobe Lightroom - Find moved or missing files and folders
