It's working just fine for me on CC 2017.
Did you upgrade it recently?
Did you check your mouse settings?
I'm working on mac os Sierra.
I upgraded it when it got released and my mouse settings outside indesign are fine as it works like a charm in the other adobe software..
Maybe there are settings in indesign itself for the mouse but i was un able to find any of those if they exist.
Ok, so take a look at the Accessibility controls:
Let us know if modifying the double click speed makes a difference in InDesign. I'm still on El Capitain (because of various issues still out there with Adobe products and Sierra), but I have not heard from anyone else with this specific complaint.
For comparison, here's my current setting:
And to address this specific question:
Maybe there are settings in indesign itself for the mouse
No. Not to control the double click. There is an option to change selecting a paragraph with a triple click, but that's it.
Yeah i indeed found the triple click before thanks,
My mouse settings are the same as you have set it up, also i found out that it works with the trackpad but not with an external mouse.
Not sure how to fix this problem tho.
Any options here besides me having to work with my trackpad instead of an usb mouse?
Ah. So now it's time to look at the driver for the mouse. Which one is it?
The mouse is a 2013 Razer Deathadder, but it just can't be the drivers as the drivers / mouse works perfectly fine in the other adobe software. But maybe you've got any suggestions i can try out.
Well, the trackpad works, that's the good news. You have an option.
If it were me, I'd check with Razer DeathAdder 2013 | Razer Support to see if there is a update to the driver for the InDesign incompatibility, and to let them know that there is an issue with that mouse and InDesign CC 2017.
You can also file a bug report with Adobe (Wishform - Adobe InDesign—click the bug report radio button), but really, it's up to Razer to make sure that their mouse works correctly with your applications.
