Hi,
I recently updated my operating system to macOS Sierra and after then Adobe Premiere Pro CC would crash when starting up.
I've tried rebooting the system, reinstalling Premiere Pro CC a couple of times but it doesn't seem to work.

Anyone having the same problem? How should I fix this problem?

My Computer Specs:
Macbook Retina 12-inch (2016)

Intel 1.1 GHz Intel Core m3 Processor

8 GB 1867 MHz LPDDR3 Memory

Intel HD Graphics 515 1536 MB Graphics

Thanks alot!

Hi Pierre,

Please try these steps:

Go to the following locations:

Location 1: When in Finder, click Go > Go to Folder > ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe

Location 2: Go > Go to Folder > ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe

Location 3: Documents > Adobe

In all the locations, rename the 'Adobe' folders to 'OldAdobe'

Launch Premiere, accept the License Agreement and see if it works.

Note: You will lose your customized workspaces and keyboard shortcuts.

Thanks,

Kulpreet Singh

Hi Kulpreet,

There isn't any specific error, the application crashes after the startup screen. After crashing, there's a problem report saying "Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017 quit unexpectedly" without error codes.

Thanks!

Pierre

It worked! Thanks a lot for your help! However, should I keep the names as "Oldadobe"? Will the future updates affect the application?

Not working for me. Still get the error message and send a report to Apple.
