Color grading issue

I am color grading multiple projects in pp. This particular clip when imported says that the settings dont match so I hit the match settings window. When I start to make color grading adjustments instead of the color grading applied to the entire clip it only does a smaller perfect square in the middle of the image in program monitor. I am at my wits end as to why this is happening. There are no masks applied at all.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Rchjr,

You are doing color grading on the Adjustment Layer & the resolution of your Adjustment Layer is much smaller than your original clip.

Thanks,

Please show a screendump of the program monitor and the effects panel with all the effects open for that clip.

Are you referring to this warning window?

If yes, please create a sequence of the same resolution as of your clips.

Please elaborate your query with screenshots & we will try to get that sorted.

Thanks,

Kulpreet Singh

This is what I am talking about. As you can see it is just a little square in the middle.

Thanks for showing me how to do this, always wondered how this was done.

Thank you!!!!!

That was the problem, I was using the same adjustment layer for multiple clips and just did not realize what was going on.
