Sequence settings in nested sequences

Using Premiere Pro CC 2015.  I have built several small sequences and have loaded them onto a master sequence.

7 of the sequences have sequence set to AVCHD 1080p square pixel.

1 sequence is set to Sony XDCAM EX 1080i (SP)

The master sequence is set to AVCHD 1080p square pixel.

The individual clips in the "Sony" sequence are actually AVCHD 1080p square pixel (I forgot to check the setting after creating the new sequence).

Does PP modify the "Sony" sequence to match the master sequence?  I have already exported the project.  Just noticed the difference in the settings.  It seems to look ok when viewing.

Thanks.

Should be easy for you to test.

Change the setting of the sequence in question and re export.

A more substantial test...change the sequence to something really "wrong" ( like DV, temporarily) and see how it previews.

Let us know.

BTW - changing the sequence means you lose your preview files.  No big deal.

Premiere Pro will play the Sony media (and any transitions applied) at the settings used in that sequence.  (Interlaced).

Premiere Pro will then play back that Sony sequence at the sequence settings used for the Master. (Progressive)

I thin my OCD-self would have to make the change and reexport.

Thank you for your replies.

I will try a test.  I also agree I should make the change and re-export.

Jim, do you think media encoder would treat the Master sequence that I exported as Progressive?

Assuming you didn't change the settings, yes.
