If there are any specifics involved, you have to show the image/ footage, but to be brutally honest, such questions only illustrate a severe lack in AE knowledge to begin with. It's very obvious that so far all you ever did is re-use the same setup to slap on some new audio file and then render it out for YouTube. In fact I'm positive you could learn easily how to do what you want if only you dared to actually watch some tutorials and read the help.

2. Re: Need help with audio spectrum
zeal422 Jan 20, 2017 1:30 AM (in response to Mylenium)I know how to make a basic spectrum...
I have looked all over the internet for a tutorial like that, it does not exist... I wouldn't be asking here if I found a tutorial...
Here is a example i've made Comp 3 / test - BG/logo/spectrum - YouTube
But instead of the head bobbing back and forth I need it to be ← left to right → or right to left with a anchor point at the bottom of the element.
So, what I'm asking is there any way I can do that ?
Is there anyone that can actually help me out here please ?

what you want is a way to make the audio convert into keyframes that you can use. this way when the amplitude is high - your layer will do more of something (in your case, travel more pixels across the X axis).
here is the section in the help files that explains about this feature: https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/using/assorted-animation-tools.html#convert_audio_to _keyframes
BTW, if you are interesting in exploring different features just type them in the upper right field of you ae interface. you will be directed to the support pages where you can find resource files and forum posts.
instead of showing you the whole process here I will leave you with valuable resources that explains how to make this work:
1. How To Convert Audio To Keyframes - Adobe After Effects Audio Tutorial - VFX Vlog #12 - YouTube
2. Dan Ebberts's Expressioneering Design Guide
if you want the parameter for the X axis available you can right click on the position property of your layer and choose "separate dimensions" - now you have X and Y in separate controls and you can pickwhip the right expression to the X axis.

Did you ever finish this animation? Can you post the results? I'd be very interested to see it!
Thank you,
Kevin
