Hey,

I've a rather simple question. I'm relativley new to this program. Here is my problem.

When I started a new project and imported some files, the window in the upper right corner (I think it's called program window?, the window which shows you the movie from the timeline) streams the data from the timeline only in 4:3 and not in 16:9. On the other hand, the window in the upper left corner (called source window?) shows my files correctly in 16:9. All my imported files were recorded in 16:9. Can someone tell me how I can change the window to 16:9 ?

Greetings and thx for help!

You started with the wrong sequence setting. As shown above this is way to set up a correct setting but if you don't want to do that.

Select sequence in Project Window and go up to Sequence/Sequence Settings and change the parameters.

Do one of the two to get a matching sequence for your footage;

I don't understand this answer. You are just telling me how to drop imported files to the timeline? I want to know how to change the size of the program window. Now it shows me only in 4:3 but I want to see my timeline in 16:9
