      Hi

      Im recently learning after effects.

Im using the Scale feature to make the text appear as the screenshots show.

The text only appears from the bottom up. Is there a way to get the text to appear from top to bottom?

If you need anymore info just ask

      Thanks!

Yes, you can change the default Anchor Point of your text layer to make the layer scale from any point you choose.

click Y to activate the anchor point tool, and move the anchor point to the place you want any transformation to occur from. point text layer's default anchor point is at the base of the layer, with respect to the paragraph alignment.

this is basic Ae and since you at the very beginning of your Ae learning (I am still learning too), do yourself a favor and complete at least the beginner section of the Ae tutorial page: After Effects tutorials
