Regardless of whether you have the cloud version or downloaded the version that you purchased outright, you have the SAME program, installed by the SAME installer, installed the SAME way on your computer. The first thing I would suggest that you try is to turn off GPU acceleration in your Lightroom preferences to see if that helps the problem.
Thanks for responding. As I mentioned, I'm not a computer person... can you tell me how to turn off the GPU acceleration?

Using the Lightroom menu, go to the Lightroom preferences. Then click on the performance tab and uncheck the option.
Tried it and it didn't work. I can't access any plug-in. Can you think of anything else I can do?
