I am not an experienced user at all (though it'd be good to preface this question with that). I am filling out a rebate form and it asks for the amount in $, but only lets me put in a date. Is there any way to change that? Thanks!

When the form is not secured you can change this in Adobe Acrobat, not Acrobat Reader.

However, changing a form design can completely mess up automatic processing. So it's best, if you are sending the PDF back (rather than just printing it) to contact the form's maker.
