Layers won't display inside smart object

Hi, i've saved a bunch of layer to one smart object, now when i open that smart object i only see the patterned background. Layers tab shows that there are layers but none of them show up on the canvas.

This has happened on multiple projects.

Figured it out. Everything except all the adjustment layers where pushed back on timeline.

What happens when you invoke Image > Reveal All for the opened SO?

I suspect the Artboards might cause a problem here …
