    Signing Android


      Good day

      I am brand new to Phonegap and trying to Build my first "Hello World App"

      I am using Win8.1 and try to do an Android build.

      I have installed the latest Java.

      When running the keystore command I complete all questions as asked (name, organization, location... etc)

      After submitting password, I get the following error:


      java.io.FileNotFoundException: mY-keystore.keystore (Access is denied)

              at java.io.FileOutputStream.open0(Native Method)

              at java.io.FileOutputStream.open(FileOutputStream.java:270)

              at java.io.FileOutputStream.<init>(FileOutputStream.java:213)

              at java.io.FileOutputStream.<init>(FileOutputStream.java:101)

              at sun.security.tools.keytool.Main.run(Main.java:340)

              at sun.security.tools.keytool.Main.main(Main.java:333)


      No idea to get past this.

      Would really appreciate any assistance.

          I notice I did not run Command line konsole as Administrator.  This I have now done and I do not get these errors any more.

          However, it does not actually generate any certificate.  The output as follow:


          Generating 2,048 bit RSA key pair and self-signed certificate (SHA256withRSA) wi

          th a validity of 10,000 days

                  for: CN=Kobus, OU=none, O=iExplore, L=Somerset West, ST=Western Cape, C=


          Enter key password for <my_alias_name>

          C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_74\bin>
