Hi,
i am working on a flex application and i need to be able to
filter my xml objects.
basically i would like to retrieve the data from the XML
where a certain node is equal to a variable.
for example only showing the songs for the artist name that
is the same as the selected artist from another list
if filtering out the xml with e4x isnt an option, is there
another way? i have two lists, one has a list of artists, from an
xml, the next list has the songs, but at this stage, only all the
songs show and i want to only show the songs that are by that
particular artist. the songs are child elements of the artist name
element
any help would be greatly appreciated
