I'm using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro on a PC. When creating a pdf file from AutoCAD I get an error message "Cannot find or create font ArialMT. Some characters may not display or print correctly". All of my trademark and registration symbols are then turned onto dots. There is not any text in my document with ArialMT font. How can I correct this?

Go into Plot Manager and edit your DWG to PDF PC3 file

Go to the Device and Documents tab, click on Custom Properties from the list and click the same button in the bottom of the box.

Click on Capture All and edit the Font List, Arial and Arial Black are NOT checked, check them and Save your way out.
