Preferences got deleted for Photoshop and it will not run HELP

I need help ASAP

When I try to open photoshop it gives me the error message that it "cannot run because my preferences are invalid (the file got deleted)" and i tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and that did not fix it

Delete your user Id Photoshop preferences folder. When you then start Photoshop it will create a new folder and populate it with Adobe default preferences. Photoshop should then work. If you do not want to loose evertthing in the folder just rename the folder Photoshop will create a new one when you start it.
