"Fill" edits are not being saved to .PSDs?

When I use the Fill tool, it does its thing with no problems. No problems when exporting (aside from not having the choice of saving in .png, my preferred format), except for when exporting to .PSD for uploading to Creative Cloud. See, when I open that file in Photoshop CC (or even Elements for that matter), the image I'm seeing is as if I didn't touch the Fill command in Mix at all, yet other edits - like layer size - are fully intact. Why is this?

Everything is fully up-to-date on both ends (that's Mix and iOS 10.2.1 on both my iPhone and iPad, and Creative Cloud and Photoshop CC on my Windows 10 PC).
