It can be done, yes. You would need to create an empty order form with all of the fields and then use a script that is attached to a button next to each item to prompt the user to enter the quantity they want to order. That information is then populated into the order form.
The order form can have a Submit button that will email the entire file,or just the form data, back to you.
This kind of thing will require the development of a custom-made script, though.
Thanks for the info, I've never written a script. Do you think it is something I could figure out or would I need some help?
I'm not sure this is a project that's suitable for a complete novice with Acrobat JS.
If you're interested in hiring a professional to do it for you (you can then read the code and see how it's done), feel free to contact me privately at try6767 at gmail.com.
I can make this kind of form too.
See this nice catalog/order form, made for a Swiss chef: http://abracadabrapdf.net/file/LesGourmandine-BdC_demo.pdf
(There is only one thing to know to use this form: you have to enter the number of guests, page 4, so that the price calculations are carried out.)
You can probably do it on your own and learn as you go. By the 4th or 5th time you start over, you might actually have something that works. That's what it was like for me 20 years ago.
Hire somebody... trust me... not me though. I hate programming forms... mostly because of what I said above.
