Monitor profile grey out photos in Lightroom

      Hi all,

I am a new user of Lightroom. I have this odd situation that when I import my NEF-files into Lightroom and then want to develop my pictures, that a grey film seem to cover my photo without any corrections made. It is visible when you turn on the Before/After Tool. Before looks much more grey than After.

I discovered that this occurs when my calibrated monitor profile is used. If I turn on my custom monitor profile Before and After look similar. I do not want to use this custom profile that came along with my computer. I want my screen calibrated so I can see what I am doing with my pictures. But I can't now in Lightroom. Photoshop Camera Raw is working perfectly fine.

      Anyone any suggestions?Schermafbeelding 2017-02-14 om 11.41.46.pngSchermafbeelding 2017-02-14 om 11.41.42.png
