I created a calendar in InDesign and I want to make it somewhat editable. I was to be able to insert notes under each day BUT NOT be able to edit the content and images.
I went to tools> forum> edit and was able to create a field in each day to enter text. My issue is that if I go to 'contact editing' I can move images, the grid, days, etc. I dont want that to be available to others when they use the calendar. I just want them to be able to enter text in each day.
You can do it using a security policy. Go to File - Properties - Security and select "Password Security". Then under the settings tick the option to restrict editing the file and under Changes Allowed select "Filling in form fields (etc.)". Enter your password and save the file to apply the policy.
Thank you so much for the response. It worked
